Antoinette’s Boutique is an extension of my passion and life.
I, Antoinette decided to share my love and fascination of the natural wonders of our earth with other like-minded souls. So I, in turn, could grow spiritually while surrounding myself with goddesses who are on their own unique journey.
My eyes always led me to peculiar gems, extraordinary sights and remarkable creations. Normal has never interested me. My thoughts were that if I am amazed by such rare beauty, surely there are others like me, that I can share my interests with. So, I began contemplating how to share my passion while evolving my knowledge of mother nature. Antoinette’s Boutique was my answer.
Today I am surrounded by exquisite minerals, stunning beauty and powerful energies. I am moved when I can give another soul the energy and beauty they seek. While we may not always have the minerals you are pursuing we will gladly source what you desire.

GEM STONE CARE
Antoinette’s Boutique gems are made with various crystals, stones and other delicate materials. Treat them with the utmost love and care. If a crystal, stone or another fragile item of your piece is dropped or banged on a hard as well as a semi-hard surface, the item may crack or break.
Personal Care Products
Every day we are exposed to a number of chemicals which may not harm us but could be to the detriment of our jewellery. Hair products, body lotions, make-up and perfume are a few of the few of the products that come to mind. These may not agree with our jewellery. The chemicals found in your daily routine care products can leave a thin layer of chemicals on your gems and over a period of time will dull your jewels. Extremely hot or cold environments is not recommended either. But not worry, there’s an easy solution. Remove your pieces before washing and applying any products. An easy way to get into the habit of this is to always put your jewellery on as one of the last things before you head out the door.
Housework
Just like we don’t generally enjoy housework, well neither does our gems. Crystals and Stone do not take kindly to knocking, scrubbing or bangs. These actions could loosen the jewels and may even leave marks on hard surfaces. Just like personal care products, household cleaners do not agree with jewellery. Bleach is an absolute NO NO as it can change the colour of your jewels but worse it can eat into the metal. Make it a rule not to wear jewels when you have your spring cleaning days.
Water
Water can be great for cleaning if your jewels are dried properly afterwards. Gems that have been stored damp can cause them to tarnish. Just be extra careful to dry them completely. However, salt water is a different story. Your gems need to stay out of salt water. The ocean can cause your jewel to corrode and rust if your piece contains brass metal, which many of them do. So a rule of thumb – remove jewellery before swimming seaside.
Storage
Keep in mind how you store your gems. This can be key to protecting them. Storing them in a nice soft environment on their own is best. For example, in a small box with some nice material padding the surrounds. When stored with other pieces some jewels when in contact with other metals can dull.
Cleaning Jewellery
When taking care of your gems and cleaning them use a very soft dry clean cloth and gently rub them. Any dirt or dust residue on the cloth may scratch your jewel so make extra sure it’s clean. Clean them just as you would your glasses. Ensure you clean them after each wear so you can remove any chemicals and oils that may have built up during wear. Commercial jewellery cleaners are not recommended.

If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us, we can exchange those products or offer a store credit (other than custom made pieces, gift cards and seconds), subject to the following conditions:
- Contact is made within 3 days of purchase and items must be returned within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt or other proof of purchase
- You must provide your name and address
- The returned items must not be jewellery or stock clearance items
- The returned items must be unused with original tags/labels attached
You can choose an exchange, store credit or refund if an item has a major problem. Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your receipt. Pick-up and delivery is not included. If the piece has a manufacturers fault, under the Consumers Guarantees Act you are entitled to a replacement, exchange, store credit or refund for a major failure. Please be sure to read and follow the care guidelines as Antoinette’s Boutique will not be responsible for any damaged caused by the consumer. Please contact us immediately to discuss any issues.

We wanted to share with you how to cleanse and re-energize your crystals and explain why it’s so important. Each full moon brings with it so much energy and your gems can harness this. Believe it or not, but your crystals hold on to the energy they take in from you and their environment. Try and get into a ritual of purifying their vibrations on a regular basis.
There are many different methods that healers use to cleanse their gems. Our preferred way we will share with you uses water and involves the full moon. This will give them a deep energy cleaning. When you have a relaxing soak with your candles and bath salts you feel amazing and refreshed. Same sort of concept. For us to function at our optimum level we need to take care of ourselves constantly.
You want to ensure your crystals are in the best shape to provide you with their healing properties. When the moon is full and at her brightest, it is the most powerful time to release the energy that is no longer serving you. Gather your jewels and gently wash them in purified water the day prior to the full moon. You can listen to peaceful music and repeat a personal mantra while washing them. It will ground you in the moment and keep your feminine energy strong. You may gently repeat a phrase in your mind. The repeating of your mantra/chanting is totally optional of course!
Once all of your gems have been washed and dried, place them on the earth for their full moon bath. If you are unable to place them directly on the ground, any natural surface will suffice. The following day let them charge with the sunrise for an hour or two before collecting them to come inside again. Many crystals like Amethyst, Aquamarine, Citrine, Fluorite, Rose Quartz and Smoky Quartz, for example, will fade in direct sunlight so be cautious not to leave them out during the day for an extended period.
Now the Moon and Sun have shared their energy with your crystals it’s now your time to charge them with your intentions. Charging them with your intentions helps them stay focused. After you have charged them it is best not to let others handle them as they will absorb their energy. Unless you have specifically charged your crystals for another person.
You can charge all of your crystals at once by imagining them soaked in healing energy. They can also be charged individually or in groups. It’s really up to you, there is no right or wrong way to charge them, let your intuition be your guide.
Now it’s time to close the cleansing and charging ritual with a thank you prayer. Simply thank Mother Earth for the ways in which she supports all life and your gems for all the work they do and will do for you. Acknowledge all of the elements that came together to create these healing tools to seal in their healing vibrations and remind us of what matters most in our hearts.
